When Parkview Medical Center hired John as CIO in 19, he found the perfect context for his skills to produce and meaningful outcomes — utilizing technology solutions to enable caregivers to deliver health and wellness to people in the communities they served. He has remained in healthcare delivery ever since.

John is currently VP, CIO of CentraState Healthcare System, an independent Acute Care Community Healthcare System. CentraState is more complex than many community hospitals with a teaching relationship with Rutgers University, a growing employed physician network, three senior services facilities, and an active Physician/Hospital Organization. CentraState's work is dovetailed with a successful ACO integration which produced significant savings over the last few years.

With his years of entrepreneurial experience, John has been a regular guest lecturer with the New Jersey Innovation Institute's healthcare startup incubator. He provides a valuable perspective to HealthTech startups, having spent considerable time on both sides of the vendor-purchaser transaction. John is presently a board member of New Jersey's HIMSS chapter and regularly converses with hundreds of healthcare executives.
